Why are liberals so afraid of the word “privatization”?

Why are liberals so beholden to their big government philosophies that just hearing the word “privatization” makes them cringe? Private business is the backbone of this country, and is what made America the envy of the world, yet you libs seem to think that the government is capable of providing better results. Name one government ran program that runs more efficiently and provides better results than its private sector counterpart, just one (and don’t say the military since there is no private sector comparison).
